Garlic Butter Prawns: A Simple and Delicious Seafood Recipe

You can’t go wrong with prawns, AT ALL!!! I guess I’m being biased lol. I love seafood, prawns are no exception. Garlic butter is a simple classic mixture. I love the freshness herbs add to the dish, so for my herbs i used thymes and rosemary. Once again this a persona preference. If you like spicy add some spicy seasonings, cyane pepper, chilli flakes etc. This is super simple and will elevate your prawns from basic to the near enough a professional level you can show of to your friends and family.

You’ll need

140g, Prawns

2 tbsp, Butter

1, Rosemary

1, Thyme

2, Garlic cloves

Salt

Pepper

1 tbsp, Sunflower oil

Method
  1. Clean and wash the prawns. Have a pan on medium heat. If prawns have shells, de shell them (Twist head off, make a small slit on the belly then rip shell off. Cut slightly into the prawn on its back along side a black line. Remove the black one sack and wash). While the pan is heating up crush and mince your garlic. (Use a garlic mincer).
  2. Once the pan is hot add in the oil. Then pour in garlic and stir till lightly brown (Should take 1-2 min). Then throw in the prawns. Flip as soon as you see it changing colour.
  3. Add in the butter and mixed herbs. Stir for a further 2 min. (Do not forget to season).
