Garlic Bread Bites

Coming to the end of ‘no waist week’, I have been trying my best to not waist anything. Honestly for me at times it just sticking to what I would say I am going to make, use the left over ingredient. Sadly I would end up making something else, completely forgetting about it. This week has really pushed and just step up my organisation in the fridge and kitchen, also enhancing my awareness on food waist.

Their are actually many ways to not waist food, the easiest and simplest is to freeze what is left or blend it and turn to a paste or pureé and freeze. Depending on what is left over. So for this recipe if you got a loaf or bread just about to go stale this is perfect. First of all the garlic spread itself is easy to make and within 15min youll have the best garlic bread youve ever made.

Youll need

3, Garlic cloves

3 Tbsp, Butter

1 Tsp, Mixed herbs

Salt

Pepper

10g of chopped Parsley

2 slices of bread

Method
  1. Cut the 2 slices from your loaf, crush the garlic, melt the butter (30seconds in the microwave).
  2. Heat up a griddle pan (If you do not have this a cast iron pan or any pan is still ok) to a medium high heat) In a small bowl mix the garlic, melted butter, mixed herbs salt and pepper.
  3. Use a brush (A spoon is ok) and spread on the bread on both sides and place in the pan. This should be around 1-2 min on each side, but just until you are happy with the colour.
  4. Now cut into small pieces and garnish with the chopped parsley.

Please like and share, let me know how it goes.
