So, gather your friends and family and bake this delicious chocolate cake to celebrate National Chocolate Cake Day in style.

You’ll need

1/2 cup, All-purpose Flour

1/4 cup, Cocoa Powder

1/4 cup, Granulated Sugar

1/4 tsp, Baking Powder

1/8 tsp, Baking soda

1/8 tsp, Salt

1 large egg

1/4 cup, Milk

2 tbsp, Vegetable Oil

1/4 tsp, Vanilla extract

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C) and grease a 6-inch round cake pan.
  2. In a medium mixing bowl, sift together the (dry ingredients) flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a separate mixing bowl, whisk the (wet ingredients) egg, milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and spread it out evenly.
  6. Bake the cake (15-20 minutes) or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Once done, remove the cake from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 5 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
  8. Once cooled, you can serve the cake with your favorite frosting or topping. Enjoy!
