Heddon Yokocho

For all my ramen lovers, I got a serious contenderfor you. I have been infatuated by ramen since having it for the first time many years back, but can’t remember where. Think the first time I heard about it was when I was younger watching anime and ramen was always if not eaten by basically everyone.

For those who are wondering what ramen Is. Well guess you’ll be in for a treat. In a nutshell it’s a Japanese noodle soup. That consists of a selection of different broths (chicken, fish, beef, veg, pork), noodles, a choice of protein (Chicken, Fish, Meat or Veg), boiled eggs, and other vegetables. It’s hearty, filling and packed if not punching with great flavour. This will be due to most of the flavour coming for the broth which has been gently simmering for hours with various bones and aromats.

Fun fact the first ramen served was in 1884 called yoken

With a retro and fun vibe, offering you ramen of the week at a wonderful price under £10. They also have a few other offers so take a friend or the other half and enjoy yourself. I strongly suggest you go down and experience various Japanese ramen dishes taken from the north (Hokkaido) to the south (Kyushu). I promise you won’t be disappointed.
